I don’t like cricket
Since our last blog Gez has celebrated another trip around the sun and we’ve been zig-zagging our way north west ish through Karnataka via Devadana, Shivamogga and Sagara. Seeking out fun bridges and Dracos as we ride.
The wildlife here is truly amazing and every time we set foot even slightly out of the Western Ghats they draw us back in. We’re hooked on the lush green landscape, abundance of incredible wildlife and really comfortable nighttime temperatures.
If the buffet breakfasts were any less enticing we might even manage an early start or two!

Occasionally a wrong turn turns out to be the right way, like when we stumbled upon this Sunday afternoon “Legends” cricket match. We stayed and watched for a while, politely declined the invitation to be introduced over the tannoy from commentary box, and continued down the right wrong road.
Gez: This is what I do now. If you need me, I’ll be up a tree in the Western Ghats taking photos of Dracos mid flight.
